The composition of Michel Barnier’s government is known. Its composition has finally been officially announced. The government spokesperson will be Maud Bregeon.
15 days after Michel Barnier was appointed Prime Minister, and 2 and a half months after the legislative elections, the composition of the new government of France was finally announced this weekend. Maud Bregeon was appointed spokesperson.
Maud Bregeon is a member of parliament for Hauts-de-Seine under the Ensemble (ex-LREM) label. Elected in 2022, she was re-elected in 2024 after the dissolution. She was a municipal councilor for Levallois-Perret (Hauts-de-Seine) between 2020 and 2022. At the end of 2020, she was appointed spokesperson for LREM with Prisca Thévenot.
Although she supported Nicolas Sarkozy in the 2012 presidential election, she joined Emmanuel Macron in the creation of his En Marche party in 2016.
Maud Bregeon worked for several years in the EDF nuclear sector as an engineer and technical manager, after obtaining a diploma from the École Polytechnique de Nantes.
Born in 1991 in Poitiers, daughter of a sociology professor and a secretary, Maud Bregeon is 33 years old.
