With the winter season underway, the Bariloche airport returns to resume air connectivity with direct flights with Salta and Tucumántwo provinces in the north of the country that begin their vacations on Monday, like Río Negro and Neuquén.
The international airport of Bariloche currently has a average of 50 daily flights, between arrivals and departuresmostly commercial services but also charter flights that bring graduates from different parts of Argentina and from Uruguay.
This week, the direct flights of Aerolíneas Argentinas that connect Bariloche and Salta returned, which had a pause in May and June, and were reactivated for the winter season.
Also today, the direct flight returns from San Miguel de Tucumán, which is also operated by the national flag carrier, with a weekly frequency.
The municipality of Bariloche highlighted that the city carried out “strong promotional campaigns to generate demand, both from the inhabitants of the province of Tucumán, as well as from the surrounding cities such as Santiago del Estero, Termas de Río Hondo, Cafayate and Catamarca”.
This winter they also joined direct flights from Bariloche to Mar del Plataand the destinations of Viedma, Rosario, Córdoba, Mendoza, Ezeiza and Aeroparque are maintained, the latter two with several daily frequencies and reinforcements in season.
Internationally, Aerolíneas Argentinas once more this week had a direct daily flight between Sao Paulo (Brazil) and Bariloche. This service departs at 1 in the morning from Brazil and arrives at 7, Argentine time.
The company uses Boeing 737-800 and Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft, with a capacity for 170 passengers in two classes of seats.
Meanwhile, the low cost company Sky returned to the Bariloche airport with direct flights from Santiago de Chile, which had been carried out in the summer season, opening a possibility to the public of the capital of the trans-Andean country and the metropolitan area. It will now operate until mid-September.
