Barcelona vs Real Madrid: Where to watch the Champions Cup Tour?

This weekend we will have the first Clásico between Barcelona and Real Madrid for the Soccer Champions Tour that is taking place in the United States.

MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey will host the first Clasico of the 2024-25 season between Barcelona and Real Madrid. Despite being a friendly match, both clubs are expected to do their best to come away with a win.

Culés and Merengues will face each other as part of the Soccer Champions Tour, a tournament held in different venues in the United States that brings together some of the best clubs on the Old Continent.

Real Madrid will arrive at the Clasico in New Jersey with the obligation to put in a good performance after losing last Wednesday against AC Milan in Chicago. Ahead of the match against the Catalan squad, Carlo Ancelotti, the Merengue team’s technical director, revealed that players such as Vinicius Jr. and Rodrygo could play for MetLife.

“We competed, fought and did good things. It is the first game of the pre-season, with many young players. The important thing was to compete and we did that throughout the game. Now we are going to prepare for the next game. Vini and Militão are back tomorrow and Rodrygo is back today. Let’s see if they can play part of the game,” said Ancelotti in a press conference.

Barcelona made their debut on the Soccer Champions Tour with a penalty shootout win over Manchester City and Hansi Flick, the Catalan team’s coach, said he was proud of his team’s performance against the Premier League champions.

“I’m very happy, we’ve seen great things. We played against a great team with fantastic players. I’m very happy. We defended like a team and we also attacked like a team,” he said at a press conference.
