A Spanish press report confirmed that Barcelona is ready to discuss offers for its defender from one of the Premier League giants.

According to the Catalan newspaper “Sport”, Barca is still looking for a solution to the problem of fair play.
Eric Garcia’s name was recently linked to the move to Arsenal, in January, at the wish of Mikel Arteta, the team’s coach, who previously trained the player in Manchester City with Pep Guardiola.
The newspaper pointed out that the Catalan team may resort to selling Garcia during the current winter Mercato.
And she added, “Although the sale of Garcia will not bring Barcelona a huge amount of money, the potential income from his departure will be one of the options offered by the sports administration.”
Garcia’s ranking among Barcelona’s defenders has declined this season, following contracting with duo Marcos Alonso and Andreas Christensen from Chelsea, as well as Jules Conde from Seville.
Garcia joined Barcelona, in the summer of 2021, from Manchester City, on a free transfer.
