Barcelona – The Spanish club Barcelona will play its matches in the 2023/2024 season at the Olympic Stadium in the city, coinciding with the development work that will be witnessed by the team’s stadium “Camp Nou”.
The renovation of the Camp Nou stadium will begin at the end of the current season, and the Barcelona city council has allowed the Catalan club to play its matches at the Olympic stadium on Thursday.
The initial work will focus on the first and second terraces, along with external urban expansion, among other things, such as technology upgrades, and the following year the third-tier terraces will be demolished.
Barcelona will return to the Camp Nou in the 2024/2025 season, but in the presence of half of the stadium’s capacity, provided that the project is fully completed during the 2025/2026 season.
