Barcelona is still hoping to sign Polish striker Robert Lewandowski, Bayern Munich, despite the difficulties surrounding the completion of that deal.
Fabrizio Romano, the Italian transfer expert, said that despite the official statements by the two clubs, Barcelona would not give up in the task of signing the Polish striker.
He added that Lewandowski is a priority for Barcelona, as he is preparing to submit an offer to join him for a period of three years, or two years, with an option to extend it for an additional year.
For his part, Bayern Munich wants to retain Lewandowski’s services, according to what the club told his agent in the first session, and things are still early.
It is noteworthy that Lewandowski played 44 games in all competitions with Bayern Munich this season, during which he scored 49 goals and assisted 6 others.
