Robert Lewandowski This Saturday he made Valencia his favorite victim with a double that earned him the Barcelona to come back in the first official match of the Hansi Flick era and with which the Polish striker increases his goals to six against the black and white team, which becomes the club against which he has scored the most as a Barça player.

Lewandowski took advantage of added time in the first half to equalise (m.45+5) after Hugo Duro scored in the 44th minute, and as soon as the second half restarted he converted Mosquera’s penalty on Raphinha to make it 2-1, which Barcelona maintained without showing great play against a physically exhausted and harmless Valencia, who but took the lead and could have made it 2-0.

Two completely different teams with very different objectives. From the Valencians’ continuing and under-resourced team to the new project with which the Catalans want to fight for LaLiga again.

Flick faced his first test without being able to register players like Dani Olmo and he made Bernal and Casadó debut as starters. He also later gave Gerard Martin and Pau Víctor their debuts in the First Division.

Barcelona quickly took control of Valencia with an electric Lamine Yamal who could not be deprived of the ball by any of the black and white players, but despite the visitors’ control, it was Rubén Baraja’s team who had the clearest chances first.

As time ran out, Hugo Duro appeared again in the 44th minute and this time he did not miss. Diego López crossed for the Madrid striker, who headed in with all his might to put Valencia ahead. But the 1-0 lasted only six minutess. After Yarek saved Casadó’s shot on the line, but also after Cubarsi prevented the 2-0, Lamine Yamal assisted Lewandowski, who tied the score in the 45+5.

Mosquera gave away a penalty on a fast Raphinha and there was the experienced Polish striker again. Lewandowski turned the game around with a powerful penalty that went into the top corner. Mamardashvili was unstoppable, and he guessed the right side (m.49).

Valencia could not keep up the pace and did not have the same clarity of attack, while Barcelona were very comfortable. Balde left injured and Gerard Martín came on.
