Barça sign full-back Marcos Alonso: Barcelona confirm signing on Twitter

In the early evening, the club of German national goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen shared a video on Twitter in which the left-back entered the Barca training ground and ran to his new teammates – less than 24 hours after his contract with English top club Chelsea was terminated.

On Thursday, the club of team manager Thomas Tuchel ended the cooperation with Alonso by mutual agreement. Shortly before, striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who had switched from Barcelona to the Tuchel team, had taken the opposite route.

Alonso (31), who had gone through the youth department of the Spanish record champions Real Madrid, switched from Fiorentina to Stamford Bridge in the summer of 2017.
