Once again supported by its star striker Robert Lewandowski, FC Barcelona was full of confidence on Sunday by correcting Sevilla FC, at home (5-1) during the tenth day of La Liga, before facing Bayern in quick succession Munich and Real Madrid next week.
The Polish international, author of his eleventh and twelfth goals of the season in the league (23rd sp, 39th), took the Catalan club (1st, 27 points) to a ninth victory in ten days, allowing it to regain three lengths of is ahead of its Madrid rival at the top of the ranking, six days before a Clasico which promises to be hot.
The goal of the evening came from the right foot of Spanish midfielder Pedri, who allowed the Blaugranas to make the break with a superb strike from outside the area (28th) on an assist from prodigy Lamine Yamal, the sixth in just ten matches.
