A NUMBER of young people who are members of the Banten Young Muslim Front (FMMB) strongly condemned the actions of the Chinese government once morest the Muslim community in Uighur.
In his written statement, FMMB Coordinator, Moch. Khoeron Muallimin said that what the Chinese government did had violated Human Rights that had been agreed upon by nations.
“We strongly condemn the actions of the Chinese government towards our Muslim brothers in Uighur. For us, these actions have violated human rights that have been mutually agreed upon,” Khoeron said in a written statement on Thursday (11/7).
Khaeron then demanded that the Chinese government stop genocide, crimes once morest humanity, forced labor, and other human rights violations once morest the majority Uighur Muslim population.
Furthermore, Khoeron demanded the Indonesian Government to expel the Chinese Embassy in Indonesia. Also, Khaeron said, he asked the UN to intervene by bringing the case of violence and violations by the Chinese Government once morest the Uighur Muslim group, especially the tragedy in Urumqi, China on July 5, 2009, to the International Court of Justice.
“We also invite all elements of Muslim society worldwide to defend our fellow believers in Uighur,” he added.
Furthermore, Khoeron condemned every act of murder and massacre in all countries because it does not reflect humanity and justice, and invited all citizens of the world to uphold peace. (Z-8)
