Banks in Saudi Arabia take a week off to celebrate Eid al-Adha

Dammam: Saudi banks will be closed for a week on Eid al-Fitr, the national bank has said. Holidays are from July 6 to 12. Meanwhile, the Supreme Court has directed to observe the birth of Dul ​​Hajj month in the country. The new moon is to be observed on the evening of Wednesday, the 29th day of Dulqahad.

Money transfer centers in Saudi Arabia have also been declared closed on the occasion of Eid al-Adha. Banks will resume operations from July 13. In addition to banks, the holiday also applies to foreign financial institutions. However, the bank branches in Makkah, Madinah and at the border check posts will be open full time for the convenience of the pilgrims. Meanwhile, the Supreme Court has asked the public to observe the birth of the month of Dhul-Hijjah in the country. The observation is scheduled for Wednesday evening, the completion of Dul-Qad 29. The apex court also directed that those who have seen menstruation should submit the information to the nearest courts.
