Bank shooting in America; Five employees were killed; The assailant was caught

New York: Shooting at a bank in the state of Kentucky, USA. Five employees were killed. Nine people were injured. The shooting happened at the Old National Bank in the city of Louisville around 8:30 local time. Policemen and employees were injured.

The assailant was also killed in a retaliatory attack by the police. The assailant has been identified as Connor Sturgeon, a former employee of the bank, officials told Archyde.com. The 23-year-old shared the footage of the attack live on Instagram.

Thomas Elliott (63), James Tutt (64), Joshua Barrick (40), Juliana (45) and Deanna Eckert (57) were killed. After entering the bank, the accused entered the conference room with a gun and committed the violence. International media reports that the police and FBI have started an investigation into the incident.

Among the nine others injured was a police officer named Nicholas Wilt, who joined the force two weeks ago. The 26-year-old man, who was shot in the head, is still in critical condition following brain surgery. One of the victims was Thomas Elliott, a senior vice president at the bank.
