Bank of projects: new industrial leather unit in Casablanca

The Moroccan company Shoeleven Company and the Turkish Group FLO, leader in the manufacture of shoes, inaugurated the new industrial unit of the Moroccan company, this May 27, 2022 in Casablanca, in the presence of the Minister of Industry and Trade, Ryad Mezzur. With a budget of 20 million dirhams (MDH), this project, having benefited from the ISTITMAR program within the framework of the Bank of projects, aims to develop local sourcing. The result of an association with the FLO Group, the new unit will be used to manufacture certain brands of the group intended for export and the local market. It will also contribute to the creation of a brand (OCTO) developed especially for the Moroccan market. Note that with this project, 500 jobs will be created and it should generate a turnover of 85 million dirhams, 50% of which will be for the local market. Its production capacity will be increased to 2,400 pairs per day.
