Rabat – The Moroccan Capital Market Authority (AMMC) announced that it recorded, on Friday, the annual update of the information file relating to the program of issuance of certificates of deposit by Bank Of Africa.
The ceiling of the issuance program is set at 15 billion dirhams, with a nominal value of 100,000 dirhams and a maturity between 10 days and 7 years, indicates the AMMC in a press release.
The purpose of issuing certificates of deposit is to diversify the bank’s sources of financing by directly appealing to the capital markets and to diversify the maturities of financing, in particular over the medium term, so as to be able to better manage differences in liquidity and the rate risk underlying the balance sheet of the commercial bank, specifies a note presenting the operation.
