PT Bank Mandiri was appointed as the first bank partner in Indonesia to provide integrated services from account opening to the issuance of Golden Visa. Bank Mandiri’s Director of Institutional Relations Rohan Hafas said the collaboration with the Ministry of Law and Human Rights will help foreign nationals (WNA) to open savings accounts using only a passport, Temporary Stay Permit (ITAS) / Permanent Stay Permit (ITAP) / Golden Visa through Livin by Mandiri.

“We are very enthusiastic about this collaboration because it will provide access for Bank Mandiri to provide convenience, security, and privilege in the Golden Visa application process,” said Rohan in a written statement, Thursday (25/7).

Bank Mandiri was chosen as the first partner of Golden Visa because the Livin by Mandiri application can be accessed in 121 countries around the world such as England, the Netherlands, China, and so on.
In addition, various investment product solution options are also available in the application.

Rohan said, Bank Mandiri will optimize the public services of the Directorate General of Immigration to foreign nationals to attract their attention to invest their funds in Indonesia. That way, the country’s economic growth will also be helped.

Through Golden Visa, Bank Mandiri is committed to supporting the growth of the national economy through significant foreign investment. Thus, this cooperation can create added value for both parties and improve the experience in using integrated banking and government services.

The Golden Visa program also has the potential to encourage sustainable growth of third party funds (TPF) portfolios in the future.
