Muvattupuzha: Dramatic incidents in which a house was confiscated while the father and mother were in hospital and their two daughters were dropped off. The foreclosure action was taken once morest Muvattupuzha Urban Co-operative Bank due to loan arrears. Mathew Kuzhalnadan MLA, who was involved in the incident and broke the lock and opened the house, had made it clear that he would repay the loan. Gopi Kottamurikkal, chairman of the bank, said on social media that the members of the Co-operative Employees’ Union had repaid the loan.
Ajesh, the head of the confiscated family, said that he did not need the help of the abusers even following the chairman clarified that the employees had paid around Rs 1.5 lakh. The Muvattupuzha Urban Co-operative Bank on Saturday confiscated the house of Ajesh, who was undergoing treatment at a hospital for a heart ailment.
Even following the incident became controversial, the bank officials took a stand justifying the foreclosure. Meanwhile, Mathew Kuzhalnadan MLA wrote a letter to the bank’s chief executive officer yesterday morning stating that he was ready to repay the family loan. Ajesh said the bank had not been notified that the employees’ union had repaid the loan.
The employees came forward to repay the loan following Mathew Kuzhalnadan MLA took charge. The love that did not exist when the house was confiscated and the girls evicted is no longer needed. The CPM and the bank employees portrayed him and his family badly on social media and insulted them. Ajesh alleged that the employees, who had approached him several times but did not take a positive stand, were now coming to his aid to cover up their fall.
