Bank DKI Distributes Social Assistance to Thousand Islands Residents

BANK DKI distributes Jakarta Children’s Cards (KAJ), Jakarta Disability Cards (KPDJ), and Jakarta Elderly Cards (KLJ) on Pramuka Island, Seribu Islands.

During the event, Bank DKI also provided education to the public on how to use the card and is expected to help beneficiaries maximize the use of the assistance provided.

Bank DKI President Director Agus H Widodo said that his party is trying to support the social welfare program initiated by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government through the distribution of social assistance.

“The distribution of KAJ, KPDJ, and KLJ is a real form of Bank DKI’s commitment to ensure that all levels of society, including those in the regions and islands, have equal access to these programs,” said Agus.

He said that the total number of aid recipients distributed in the Thousand Islands was 221 recipients, consisting of KAJ with 56 recipients, KLJ with 148 recipients, and KPDJ with 17 recipients.

Previously, Bank DKI also distributed social assistance cards to beneficiaries which were carried out in stages in several areas of Jakarta on July 23-31, 2024. In Central Jakarta, assistance was distributed to 1,346 KAJ recipients, 5 KPDJ recipients, and 5 KLJ recipients, while in West Jakarta it was distributed to 830 KAJ recipients, 5 KLJ recipients, and 5 KPDJ recipients.

As of June 2024, the Basic Needs Fulfillment (PKD) social assistance has been distributed in two stages. Stage I was distributed to 52,135 KLJ recipients, 6,475 KPDJ recipients, and 4,800 KAJ, stage II was distributed to 90,743 KLJ recipients, 11,099 KPDJ recipients, 8,807 KAJ recipients.

Agus emphasized that Bank DKI continues to strive to provide inclusive financial support for the community, including in the Seribu Islands region.

“Bank DKI presents the concept digital island through the support of MSME digitalization. With a choice of products and support for digital banking facilities such as JakOne Mobile. We hope to provide convenience and comfort for all customers in accessing our banking services,” he explained.

He added that recipients who had received funds in the previous year but did not receive them this year can check the Integrated Social Welfare Data (DTKS) via the website. https://dtks.jakarta.go.id/or submit a complaint to the DKI Jakarta Provincial Social Service. (E-2)
