Bangladeshi youth ‘infiltrates’ India India | IPL | Cricket

Mumbai ∙ There is a saying among fans that cricket has no boundaries. Mohammed Ibrahim, a 31-year-old Bangladeshi national, has proved that to be true. The national media reported that he had ‘infiltrated’ across the border to watch Indian Premier League cricket live. Mohammad Ibrahim hails from East Chandpur in Narayanganj district of Bangladesh.

He arrived in India on Friday evening via the international border near North 24 Parganas in West Bengal. BSF officials immediately arrested him. He said that he was a cricket fan and was going to Mumbai to watch the IPL.

Mohammad Ibrahim’s adventure paid 5,000 Bangladeshi Taka agents to cross the border. India sent him back to Bangladesh. BSF officials handed over Mohammad Ibrahim to Border Guard Bangladeshi officials.
