A case of murder has been registered in Dhaka on Bangladesh’s star cricket all-rounder and former Awami League Member of Parliament Shakibul Hasan, who participated in the Rawalpindi Test match against Pakistan.
According to Bangladeshi media, Shakib-ul-Hasan has been accused of murdering an employee of a garment factory in Dhaka. The father of the deceased Rubel filed a murder case against Shakib-ul-Hasan in Dhaka police station.
Apart from Shakib-ul-Hassan, 154 people including former Prime Minister and Awami League chief Sheikh Hasina Wajid have been named in this case.
The case was filed by Rafiqul Islam, the father of Rubel, who was killed as a result of firing at the protest rally. According to the report, on August 5, Rubel participated in a protest march on Ring Road, which was fired upon and Rubel lost his life. .
