A case of murder has been registered against Bangladeshi cricketer Shakib-ul-Hasan in Dhaka, after which he is being asked to be removed from the team.

According to Bangladeshi media, Shakib-ul-Hasan is accused of murdering an employee of a garment factory in Dhaka. The employee’s father filed a murder case against Shakib-ul-Hasan at the police station in Dhaka.

The all-rounder is currently representing Bangladesh in the Test series in Pakistan. However, an important statement from the Bangladesh Cricket Board has come out regarding his availability in the second Test match.

BCB was being demanded to ban Shakib-ul-Hasan, who was named in the murder case, while a legal notice was also sent to BCB after being named in the case.

The Bangladesh Cricket Board says that Shakib-ul-Hasan will not be recalled, he will continue to play until he is found guilty.
