Bangladesh: Central Bank Governor, Chief Justice and five senior judges resign from their posts

According to Bangladeshi newspaper Dhaka Tribune, Bangladesh Bank Governor Abdul Rauf Talukdar also submitted his resignation to the Finance Ministry on Friday citing ‘personal reasons’.

Bangladesh Bank Governor Talukdar’s resignation is part of a wider wave of exits from government, autonomous and semi-autonomous institutions following the recent collapse of the Awami League-led government.
