Chittagong (Bangladesh) – This game ended dramatically for Fahim (15)!
The boy from the Southeast Asian port city of Chittagong played hide and seek with his friends on January 11, choosing a shipping container. But then: The teenager fell asleep and the container was loaded onto a merchant ship.
For six days, the child sailed in a container across the sea to Malaysia, where he was discovered in the harbor of the small town of Port Klang.
“We assumed that the boy broke into the container and fell asleep,” Malaysian Interior Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail told a Malaysian news agency.
Fahim was dehydrated and starved, had a fever and was taken to a Malaysian hospital. It is unclear whether he is already back in his hometown.
