SYNDUALITY Set in the year 2222, years after a mysterious, poisonous rain called “The Tears of the New Moon” wiped out almost all of humanity and created deformed creatures that relentlessly hunt the now remaining population. Mankind was forced to live underground, where they built an underground sanctuary called Amasia. SYNDUALITY is a project we can’t wait for players to get hands on.” said Yosuke Futami, Producer at Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc. “We work closely with famous designers such as Neco (character design), Ippei Gyoubu ( mechanical design), as well as the team at Game Studio, to create a fun shooter that places a strong focus on core gameplay and a unique focus on the relationship between AI’s and humans. This relationship grows between the players and their “magus” and has a direct impact on the gameplay as well as the story.”

In the game, players take on the role of so-called “Drifters”, people who earn their living by collecting AO Crystals, a rare resource on Earth. There they encounter creatures called “Enders”. The players can always rely on their “Magus”, an AI partner: This supports them on their adventure, in battles, offers help but also warns them. Over time, the connection between the players and the AI also grows. The gameplay and combat in SYNDUALITY takes place with freely personalizable vehicles. Here players can make a number of modifications from appearance to weapon loadouts and thereby support their own playstyle.
