The passage of Tropical Storm Óscar led the Government of Cuba to implement extraordinary measures to protect the population. The Metropolitan Bank of Havana explains what its active services are today.

As part of these actions, the suspension of all non-essential administrative activities and classes throughout the country was decreed for Monday, October 21, Tuesday, October 22, and Wednesday, October 23.

However, some critical services will remain operational to guarantee the continuity of essential functions, such as banks.

In this context, Banco Metropolitano announced that, despite the suspension of administrative and educational activities, its bank branches will continue to provide vital services.

For example, from Monday, October 21 to Wednesday, October 23, cash services will be available with priority in payment to retirees, in addition to withdrawals, deposits and other essential operations between entities. The hours of operation will be from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
