BANCO MERCANTIL REMITTANCES 2024: How to receive? +STEPS
Banco Mercantil Bank offers a remittance service through “Foreign Exchange Transfer” for its natural clients.
According to the bank, the platform offers the possibility of receiving money from anywhere in the world.
Remittances in Mercantil
The bank recently activated in the Mercantile Payments Portal the option to receive money from abroad into the accounts of natural persons. It is available for clients and non-clients of the entity and operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
The service allows you to send a maximum of five transactions per month and up to two transactions per day.
What is the amount?
The minimum amount is $10 and the maximum is $300.
With Mercantil’s foreign currency reception system, the client receives the amounts in bolivars in his bank account and at the official rate of the Central Bank of Venezuela (BCV).
Steps to follow
To send money to your family or friends, you must follow these steps.
- Go to the website www.mercantilbanco.com
- Locate and select the “Payment Portal” option www.portaldepagosmercantil.com
- Click on “Sign up” to create your user
- Once you log in with your username to the “Payment Portal”, locate and select the “Sending currency” option.
- Register your international debit or credit card(s) Visa, Mastercard, Dinners Club y Discover.
- Once your international debit or credit card(s) have been verified, enter the beneficiary’s information: ID card and 20-digit account number at Mercantil (national currency Bs).
- Please indicate the amount in currency you wish to send
- Confirm the operation
