He Bank of Venezuela (BDV) reiterates that it does not issue any type of link through social networks that direct to online banking, nor does it ask its clients to send personal or sensitive information such as passwords, codes, card or account numbers, through emails.

In addition, so that clients and users can manage their requests, the entity has the social networks @BcodeVenezuela on X and Instagram, and @BancodeVenezuelaOficial on Facebook; as well as the telephone switchboard 0500 MICLAVE (05006425283) for natural persons and 0500 EMCLAVE (05003625283) for legal persons.

In this regard, Banco de Venezuela recommends:

  • Protecting your identity on phone calls
  • Do not share confidential information over the phone or in links where supposed prizes are awarded.
  • Beware of fake pages and misleading offers
  • Be wary of unknown links and verify that the email address (URL) is correct
  • Enable two-step verification and do not share the authentication code
  • Keep your operating system and browser updated
  • Avoid accessing BDV channels through free wireless networks
