The ballistic missile launched by North Korea, this Monday (18), with a normal trajectory would have a range of 15 thousand kilometers, covering the entire territory of the USA, writes the Kyodo agency referring to the vice minister of Defense of the Japan Shingo Miyake.
“Taking into account the weight of the warhead, the range might be 15 thousand kilometers,” said Miyake. He specified that the missile remained in flight for 73 minutes.
The flight altitude of North Korea’s intercontinental ballistic missile exceeded 6 thousand kilometers. The projectile fell outside Japan’s exclusive economic zone.

So far this year, Pyongyang has carried out regarding 20 missile tests, including the first test of a solid-fuel intercontinental ballistic missile, the Hwasong-18.
