Thanks to one of the first major choices to make in Baldur’s Gate 3, many players are discovering that they missed a key location.
Baldur’s Gate 3 is a massive game, with hundreds of hours of content and a dizzying amount of locations to explore. Each location has its own stories, NPCs, and landscapes, meaning players can easily miss a key structure.
That’s exactly what happened when a player shared a must-see location that they missed. His post caused a reaction, because others realized that they had made the same mistake.

Baldur’s Gate 3 players discover they missed a key location
The user and/Alrumaih7 shared his discovery on Reddit. He showed a picture of Auberosea Monastery, which many players will recognize as the location of the Githyanki Nativity Scene. It is possible to get there in Act I or via the Mountain Pass.
With the image, the player highlighted how he “ almost missed this area “, saying ” this game is crazy ».
Although it is not a hidden location, many players choose to listen to Halsin instead of Lae’zel. So they never go to the Crèche.

The comments were filled with players talking regarding how important it is to explore this track. Indeed, they explained that “ It’s definitely my favorite place visually. It made me feel like I was there in person ».
This place is definitely worth exploring, although you need to return to the Underdark first to get the best of both worlds so you can explore the Mountain Pass or choose the Crèche path from the start.
The poster wasn’t the only one to miss the location, with many saying: ” Eh ? I think I actually missed it on my first playthrough. Now on the second one I’m in the Underdark I want to complete both. I guess I’ll go check it out now ».
