Larian Studios has released a new trailer for Baldur’s Gate 3 focusing on the third villain in the story: Orin the Red. The shapeshifter is described as the master of the kill and will use her skills to spread terror and tension to the players.
She will be played by Maggie Robertson, an actress known for her role as Lady Dimitrescu in Resident Evil Village, and will have an “intimate relationship” with her blades.
Following the reveal of villains Lord Enver Gortash (Jason Isaacs) and General Ketheric Thorm (JK Simmons), the studio has brought new details regarding shapeshifting assassin Orin the Red, who will stop at nothing to paint the city of Baldur’s Gate in blood.
According to Larian Studios, Orin will be a scary character because he can freely transform into whoever he wants. Due to its ability to infiltrate anywhere, the villain promises to be one of the biggest threats faced by the player, including the possibility of pretending to be one of the characters in your group.
Actress Maggie Robertson said that Orin is described as a “affectionately unhinged” character and will bring an unpredictability factor to Baldur’s Gate 3. Basically, the player will never know when the villain will appear and when they realize something is wrong, it will be too late.
