Baldur’s Gate 3 gets DLSS 2 support in new NVIDIA driver

A NVIDIA announced the launch of a new version of the GeForce Game Ready Driver for the game Baldur’s Gate 3 with support for DLSS 2 technology, which promises to substantially increase the game’s performance on PCs with compatible video cards.

According to the company, gamers can maximize the game’s graphics quality with NVIDIA DLAA or increase the frame rate with DLSS 2. GeForce RTX 40 Series GPUs increased game performance by regarding 93%.

With DLSS 2, most players who own a next-gen card, and those with recommended cards, will be able to play Baldur’s Gate 3 at 4K resolution, with all settings maxed out, at over 60 frames per second, according to DLSS 2. NVIDIA.

After three years in early access, Baldur’s Gate 3 has officially launched and NVIDIA has promised that players will have the ultimate experience playing on a PC equipped with a GeForce RTX graphics card or through GeForce NOW.

The new driver also added DLSS 2 compatibility for two more games: The Texas Chain Saw Massacre and Gord. In addition, six other games received optimal one-click settings options in the GeForce Experience software. Are they:

Portal: Prelude RTX;
Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart;
Remnant 2.

It is worth remembering that at the beginning of this month, NVIDIA announced that five games received DLSS support in August. The other games that received DLSS compatibility are:

DISORDERS: A Puzzle Game Adventure – Game will switch to Unreal Engine 5.2 and adds NVIDIA RTX Direct Illumination, Shader Execution Reordering and DLSS 3 for a 3.6X average performance upgrade at 4K with max settings enabled

Lost Soul Aside — slated for release in 2024 with DLSS 3;

Remnant II — available now and compatible with DLSS 3;

Grand Emprise: Time Travel Survival — available now and compatible with DLSS 2.
