Slugger Balbino Fuenmayor stands out in the postseason of the Mexican Baseball League (LMB) with the uniform of the Acereros de Monclova.

Fuenmayor, who in Venezuela belongs to Caribes de Anzoátegui, has been a vital piece for his team in the series against Tecolotes de Dos Laredos (the club that owns his contract and loaned him to “La Furia Azul” for this season).

After four games, the tie is tied at two wins per side, after the “tecos” were up 2-0. In the third game, which ended with Monclova’s first victory in the match, “Balbineitor” was awarded the Most Valuable Player (MVP) award.

Importance of slugger

The slugger from Carabobo was vital in this match by hitting a double to drive in the tying run and then scoring to give his team the difference in Mexican baseball.

So far, the right-handed batter has three home runs in the postseason series of the Aztec summer circuit. He has five RBIs, four runs scored, a double and has an average of .313, to be among the best of the Steelers at the offensive level.

Representation of The Tribe

On the Tecolotes side there is also representation from La Tribu, as there is shortstop Luis Sardiñas, who has also had a good performance with the bat.

After four games, he has two runs, one run scored and a batting average of .357.
