‘Bajaj Bajuri’ artist leaves Islam because of depression, divorced by husband

Jovanka Mardova Debby in Bajaj Bajuri became the public spotlight after admitting to convert from Islam to Christianity in 2009.

The decision made him embrace a different faith from his Muslim father.

“No one ever talks to me, never invite any. But that pure, I fell in love with His love. I can no longer refuse that love,” said Jovanka.


Actor Debby in soap operas Bajaj Bajuri The woman admitted that she felt depressed because of the divorce and had to return to Indonesia without her children.

“I was down and depressed. At that time, I was woman who have no purpose in life. They didn’t know my story, nor did they try to fool me or judge me. They just prayed very specifically and it touched my heart. While praying, I couldn’t stop crying,” he explained.

Being a Christian, Jovanka also mentioned that relationship with the father went well.

“That day after worship and I calmed myself down and I immediately called my Papi. (Papi) is the best person in my life, I have to give this information that I have made up my mind to choose this (Christian),” he said.

“(Papi) is a devout Muslim, very kind, loving and very tolerant. Our relationship is extraordinary because after finding out I converted to Christianity, Papi took me to church and in the afternoon I accompanied him to pray in the prayer room. This is a normal thing that we usually do do,” he concluded.
