BAI’s solidarity Christmas strengthens the dreams of 200 children in homes – news

The banking institution decided to offer a day with a different meaning from the others experienced by children who arrived at foster homes for many different reasons in life. The recreational activity was carried out by Banco Angolano de Investimentos (BAI), within the scope of its social responsibility

BAI’s Director of Communication and Brand Management, Fábio Correia, explained that the event aims to transmit hope to children who, for various reasons, are growing up far from their families.

For the person responsible, the fact that, annually, the financial institution provides this type of moment to hundreds of minors translates into a feeling of satisfaction, despite the organization’s objective being the growth of the initiative, allowing the participation of as many children as possible. children.

“We are happy to carry out this activity annually, bringing together the children who most need our help. We want to increase and bring as many children as possible so that this moment becomes unforgettable in their lives. Our message is encouragement in studies and believing that anything is possible,” she said.

For her part, the director of REMAR Angola, Dina Martins, considered the moment to be of particular importance for the lives of children who, as a rule, have a daily routine without major changes.

Therefore, he praised BAI’s initiative, which, he said, for the second time invites minors from his home to participate in the event, and this year, there were at least 100 children, who have been engaged in recreational and educational activities, in addition to services household items that aim to ensure the hygiene of the space where they live. “It is to be praised, because this is a different day. Children almost always have the same routine.

It’s Christmas time, they hear regarding Christmas, but many of them don’t have the chance to celebrate Christmas. They are happy and we are happy too. A normal society should be like this.

Institutions must offer these moments”, he considered. For Luzia Camila, who was taken to REMAR by Social Action, this is the first time that she has participated in Christmas outside the host institution, which is, for her, a fact of particular relevance, as it is a day different from the others inside of your home.

“Christmas in solidarity, here, at BAI, is going very well and I’m enjoying it. It’s a different day than the ones I spend at REMAR”, expressed her feeling.
