The ceiling of Baim Wong’s new office collapsed and collapsed suddenly. Glass fell and broke. This happened when he was doing a room tour with the media crew at the new Tiger Wong Agency office which is located in the Setu area, South Tangerang.
Here’s the chronology of the incident. Baim Wong invited the media to his new office on Tuesday (12/12/2023). On the agenda that day, Baim Wong wanted to introduce his newest business to journalists.
While giving an explanation in an office room, suddenly he heard the sound of a hard object falling. The sound was then followed by the sound of glass breaking. Suddenly everyone panicked, including Baim Wong.
Paula Verhoeven’s husband was in shock because the incident happened very quickly. He also suspected that this happened because of an earthquake.
“I was also shocked, I didn’t know what was going on, while I was inside, suddenly all the glass broke, collapsed,” said Baim Wong when met in the Setu area, South Tangerang, Tuesday (12/12/2023).
“I don’t know either, it looks like an earthquake. But I first looked at the building next door, it really wasn’t an earthquake,” he continued.
After the incident, Baim Wong immediately made sure his wife and two children were in a safe place. They survived the disaster.
There were no victims in this incident. Invited guests and media present also did not suffer any injuries at all.
“Someone said, ‘His child, his child, his child’. Oh yes, my child, I immediately took my child. I also looked for my family first before leaving. Thank God it’s okay,” said Baim Wong.
“The important thing is that you guys are okay. What if something happens to me?” he added.
When asked regarding the durability of the new building, Baim Wong confirmed that the building was sturdy. Therefore, he wanted to find out what was the cause of the problem that occurred on the 3rd floor of the office.
“This (building) is sturdy, but I’m still looking into it myself, it only happened a minute ago, there are no problems with the construction,” he concluded.
