Bahrain King’s visit to France hailed as a success

The cabinet assessed that the visit of Bahraini King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to France was able to start a new chapter in the relations between the two countries. The cabinet meeting was held at Gudaibiya Palace under the chairmanship of Sheikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure Development.

King Hamad, who arrived in France at the invitation of French President Emmanuel Macron, met with him and explored the possibilities of expanding cooperation in various fields and reviewed the positions being taken on various issues in the region and at the international level.

The Cabinet assessed that Bahrain has been able to take a remarkable stand in the field of human services. Bahrain and Tajikistan have decided to sign an agreement to waive visa procedures for special passport holders.

The Minister of Labor explained the matters related to the implementation of the Noon Rest Act. A report was also presented on the programs attended by the ministers in the cabinet.
