Bahrain Bourse, the self-regulating multi-asset market, announced that it will host the annual conference of the Arab Capital Markets Federation, the largest event for stock exchanges and financial markets in the Middle East under the patronage of Sheikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy. The title of the “Annual Conference of the Arab Capital Markets Federation: Bahrain 2022” will be held on March 29 and 30, and it will be held on the sidelines of the conference, the annual meeting of the Arab Capital Markets Federation, in the presence of more than 21 members of the Arab Capital Markets Federation, including CEOs of stock exchanges in the Sharq region Middle East and North Africa, brokerage firms, custodians and clearing houses.
The “Annual Conference of the Arab Capital Markets Association: Bahrain 2022” aims to create a favorable environment for Arab financial markets and enhance their integration and liquidity. In addition, the conference plays a major role in creating common ground between leaders of Arab financial markets with regional and international experts. The conference is expected to attract more than 350 participants from different stock exchanges, and will bring together financial market regulators, brokerage firms, investment fund managers and economic journalists.
The conference will receive local, regional and international speakers to shed light on key topics and important topics, including investing in environmental, social and corporate governance practices, the challenges of managing clearing and central depository in the future, digitizing post-trading operations, Shariah-compliant financing, and increasing retail investments. and developing market data selling services, and embracing the growing era of regulatory technology.
