It is noteworthy that Bahrain is preparing to host the International School Games, which will be held over 10 days, during October 2024, with the wide participation of 80 countries around the world, 5,000 students, and 25 different sports, including swimming, gymnastics, triple basketball, fencing, boxing, taekwondo, wrestling, karate, judo and table tennis. Badminton, tennis, handball, tourist volleyball, dance, chess, javelin, darts, Paralympic games, judo, athletics, rhythmic gymnastics, artistic gymnastics and aerobics. 14 sites have been allocated for the implementation of tournament games and their specialized programmes.
