They qualified for the NSK, the RMCIT or the Rotax Euro Trophy. 16 pilots are preparing to take off for the Middle East to take part in this new edition of the “Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals” which is taking place in Bahrain, as in 2021: 5 pilots in Rotax Junior, 3 in Rotax Senior, 5 in Rotax DD2 and 3 in Rotax DD2 Master.

The change of engine to Mini with the move to Vortex in FFSA did not allow Rotax France to qualify drivers in Mini Max, unlike in previous years. We also note that the age of the National category is not identical to that of the Rotax Junior. Consequently, some pilots ranked at the forefront at the NSK were not able to claim an entry ticket for Bahrain. Example with 3rd Paul Grisel or 5th Tom Langlois, both aged 15. As for the winner, Hugo Martiniello, the fact of having already ridden in Senior excluded him from the game.
The drivers will collect their equipment on Sunday December 3, before starting free practice on Monday. Qualifying will take place on Wednesday just before the first heats, the super heats on Friday and the finals on Saturday. Some races will take place under floodlights at night to limit the feeling of the heat of the day.
