BAHLIL Lahadalia will be confirmed as the definitive General Chairman of the Golkar Party on the second day of the 11th National Conference (Munas) of the Golkar Party, Wednesday (21/8).
“The appointment of the elected general chairman, Mr. Bahlil Lahadalia,” said Secretary of the 11th Golkar Party National Conference, Ace Hasan Syadzily, to journalists, Wednesday (21/8).
Bahlil, Ace said, is the only Golkar Party candidate who meets the requirements. The ESDM Minister received support from 30% of Munas voters.
Before being appointed as General Chairman, Bahlil will convey his vision and mission in the Munas forum. Another Munas agenda is that there will be a meeting per commission.
“The National Conference will hold meetings of the Commissions consisting of 3 Commissions, the Organizational Commission, the Golkar Party General Program Commission and the Political Statement and Recommendation Commission,” said Ace.
In addition, the closing of the National Conference will also be attended by President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) and the President-elect for the 2024-2029 period, Prabowo Subianto. The general chairmen of political parties (parpol) are also said to be present.

“The closing of the National Conference is scheduled for tonight, which God willing will be attended by President Jokowi and the President-elect, Mr. Prabowo Subianto, and invited general chairmen of other political parties,” said Ace.
Previously, Bahlil Lahadalia was elected as the General Chairman of the Golkar Party for the 2024-2029 period by acclamation. He received full support from all Regional Leadership Councils (DPD) of the Golkar Party at levels I and II.
“Almost 100% of all DPD and DPD II have given their support to Mr. Bahlil, and then gave Bahlil the position of sole formator,” said the Chairman of the Leadership of the 11th National Conference (Munas) of the Golkar Party, Adies Kadir, at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC), Tuesday (20/8) evening.
