Riviera Maya on September 21, 2022.- On September 5, the first day of a series of courses taught by the group “Black Medic Training” y “Northeast Firefighters” in the facilities of Bahia Principe Riviera Maya Resort.
Among the 80 attendees were elements of the State Police, Municipal Police of Tulum, Paramedics from Chetumal, Firefighters from Playa del Carmen and collaborators from Bahia Principe, who extended this invitation to the neighboring hotels, among which are the chains of Palladium, Dreams Akumal y Catatonia.
The main topics were: tactical medicine, basic first aid, search and rescue, fire prevention and fighting, among others. During each of them, updated techniques such as bandages, immobilization, wound intervention, and many more were taught.
Injury, accident and fire drills were held inside the hotel.
In a didactic way and with the enthusiastic participation of the guests who actively participated with the instructors, who advised at all times on how to act quickly and efficiently in these risky situations, effectively use all the materials available hand and persevere life.
All the attendees thanked the invitation and the initiative of Bahia Principe Riviera Maya Resort in the organization of this series of courses and reiterated their disposition in terms of social responsibility and their active participation so that all the actions they carry out are for the benefit of society, both the companies and the destination, and are articulated jointly .
