“I wanted to publicly apologize to everyone who saw it. I know that he went further than Bahía Blanca. It’s a huge mess because I got stuck. It was all a mistake. I’m very embarrassed to have to go out and do this, but it’s the right thing to do,” Safar began to explain.

“Yesterday we were with some friends at noon. There was no light, obviously. We get together for lunch, we smoke… We started talking regarding everything that had happened, regarding what Radagast and Manu Ginobili had done. Then the Independiente de Santi Maratea collection went out… Between one thing and the other We started talking regarding people who changed their aliases, we started messing around and I said ‘let’s test if it is already in use, if people have already changed it,’ explained the author of the controversy.

We grabbed my phone. I don’t know why we changed the alias (…) they changed the z to s and it stayed like this. Obviously, I was not in my right mind, nor were any of my friends,” warned the son of the Avanza Libertad councilor.

“I didn’t consider any consequences. That happened, I was left without signal and I said ‘well, I’ll change it later'”continued the young man.

“It goes without saying that I didn’t get a penny from anyone. Only people who sent me a peso and wrote ‘garca’, ‘sorete’,” said Iván Safar, whose weak arguments tried to downplay the seriousness of the controversial maneuver.

He also clarified that he subsequently contacted Mercado Pago’s technical support to change the alias or delete the account, but he would have received the response that the operation might not be carried out until 24 hours had passed.

I understand the anger, but I would never take advantage of something like that., I am not a person who lacks money or is in bad shape financially. Thank God nothing happened in my house or to any loved one…”, explained Safar and then referred to the “threats” that he received as a result of the scandal.

I am receiving threats of all types, kinds and colors. I have to come out and clarify that it is all a mistake,” said Iván Safar.

In parallel, Valeria Rodríguez’s son published a post on his networks in which he apologized for what happened and described the suspicious situation as “a misunderstanding.”
