Defending MotoGP CHAMPION Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo) said he would focus on the Indonesian GP and immediately forget about his failure at the Emilia Romagna GP, where he failed to bring home a single point.
One of Bagnaia’s main focuses is on the technical side. He assessed that the characteristics of the Mandalika International Circuit require a different approach from previous races.
“Yes, because it’s a track that I like, it’s a little bit different from what we’re used to in terms of grip because it’s less, and we have to get used to it quickly. It’s a good track, and I like it and think we can be very fast here ,” said Bagnaia as reported by Antara, Friday (27/9).
Another thing that made him impatient to try out Mandalika for the third time was the presence of Indonesian MotoGP fans who he considered very enthusiastic.
“You arrive here and feel like a star; people look at you like a hero, and that is a fantastic feeling, their passion for our sport is unbelievable,” said the racer known as Pecco.
“If I check my Instagram followers, the highest percentage of people who follow me are from Indonesia, so that’s something amazing, and I like them because of their passion
to our sport,” he added.
