Indonesian Men’s Doubles PAIR Bagas Maulana/Muhammad Shohibul Fikri contributed one point to equalize 1-1 once morest Indi in the 2024 Thomas Cup Group C match.
Bagas/Fikri defeated Satwiksairaj Rankireddy/Chirag Shetty with a score of 24-22, 22-24, 21-19.
“Firstly, thank God we can win, we can contribute the first points for Indonesia,” said Fikri in his statement, (1/5).
Fikri mentioned that the competition was fierce from start to finish. In the second gym, he admitted to losing focus until the opponent was able to dominate the competition.
“Apart from that, they had nothing to lose when they were behind and Satwik also had a very difficult serve. But the coach said don’t think regarding what happened in the second game, take it once more in the third game,” said Fikri.

Bagas stated that his party really regretted losing the second game. According to him, they should be able to win the second game.
