Bae Hyun-jin criticized “Park Byeong-seok’s cute body” Kang Min-jung “human rights violation remarks”

At the plenary session on the 30th, when the amendment to the Prosecutor’s Office Act was passed by the National Assembly among the prosecution reform bills so-called Prosecutor’s Office (completely depriving the prosecution investigation authority), Rep. Bae Hyun-jin, the People’s Power, poured derogatory expressions and slanderous remarks such as ‘with a cute body’ to Speaker of the National Assembly Park Byung-seok. The swelling became more controversial than the bill process.

Rep. Bae made this announcement following receiving a speech before the filibuster of the “Criminal Procedure Act Amendment Bill” right following the Prosecutor’s Office Act amendment bill and the session change bill were passed on the same day. Before the plenary session was held, the harsh expression came out in the process of protesting the issues faced by the People’s Power lawmakers, especially women lawmakers and the chairperson’s bodyguards, who blocked the position of the National Assembly Speaker to block the position of the plenary session. However, the expression of Chairman Park Byeong-seok, such as “Your cute body,” became a problem.

Rep. Bae said, “Today, the Speaker of the National Assembly, with a very petulant appearance, refused the visit of the Vice President of the National Assembly and demanded an interview in front of the Speaker’s Office, and indiscriminately pushed the line of People’s Power lawmakers in front of the Speaker’s Office officials and bodyguards.” “In the process, please The women sitting in the front row to step on your pretty body on top of our people’s power lawmakers even though they asked you to stop and stand still, guessing the scenes invisible under the camera, and valiantly kicking our women with their shoes, this National Assembly came up to the chair. Chairman, is this the democracy you are asking for, please tell me,” she exclaimed loudly. Assemblyman Bae reached out to Chairman Park twice and looked as if he was pointing. Rep. Bae later explained, “Who said that I was pointing,” and “I asked the essence of democracy that you neglected by putting your five fingers open to the Speaker of the National Assembly who lightly trampled on us and passed us by.”

Assemblyman Bae continued, “Isn’t it the job of the head of democracy in the National Assembly representing the people to enjoy two years of riding on a protocol train, and to enjoy it as the second in the Korean protocol, amid rumors that he is going to the highest level of overseas tours in history?” National Assembly Speaker Park Byeong-seok should resign.”

Chairman Park Byeong-seok said, “Rep. Hyun-jin Bae did a great job” without making any objections.

Then, Park Chan-dae, a member of the Democratic Party of Korea, said, “Please be careful. I think it is not polite to the people to completely deny the agreement on the Prosecutor’s Office Act and the Criminal Procedure Act ratified by the National Assembly and the ruling and opposition party leaders under Bae Seok, the Speaker of the National Assembly, and speak out like this. You should be ashamed.”

Above all, Rep. Bae’s remarks of “a cute body” were criticized as an expression of human rights violations. In a post on his Facebook page that evening, Democratic Party lawmaker Kang Min-jung said, “The appearance of the National Power members at today’s plenary session was shameful.” . It showed the lack of democratic debate capacity and attitude.” Rep. Kang Min-jung said, “Rep. Hyun-jin Bae’s behavior, who pointed at the chairman and lawmakers and made ‘that cute body’ to the Speaker of the National Assembly without hesitation, was truly surprising. Civic qualities and attitudes are demanded. She pointed out, “It is too far from the attitude or qualities of a democratic citizen to abruptly break the agreement they have made and then act like this with a reckless shout of disrespect,” she pointed out.
