Bad news for cricket circles, former Pakistani cricketer died of corona virus

Pakistan’s former first-class cricketer Zafar Sarfraz also left the world after suffering from the global epidemic of corona virus.

According to the spokesperson of Lady Reading Hospital, former cricketer Zafar Sarfraz was diagnosed with Covid-19 i.e. Corona virus 6 days ago, after which he was brought to Lady Reading Hospital in Peshawar where he was undergoing treatment.

Later, the condition of the 50-year-old former cricketer deteriorated and he was shifted to the ventilator. Even after being on the ventilator for 3 days, Zafar Sarfaraz’s condition could not be improved and he died.

According to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Sports Writers Association President Ijaz Ahmed, Zafar Sarfraz played first-class matches for Peshawar. Born in 1969, Zafar Sarfraz was a left-handed batsman and a slow left-arm orthodox bowler.

He played First Class from 1988 to 1994 and List A from 1990 to 1992. Zafar Sarfraz played 15 games for Peshawar FC.

Zafar Sarfaraz was the elder brother of national cricket team player Akhtar Sarfaraz who died last year. It should be remembered that the corona virus is becoming uncontrollable all over the world, thousands of people have lost their lives due to the virus. Famous people are also included.

The total number of deaths due to Corona virus in Pakistan has reached 96 while the number of infected patients has reached 5716 after the new cases came to light.
