Urination is one of the vital processes that a person performs on a daily basis, to get rid of fluids, salts and harmful substances, because their stay in the body may negatively affect public health.
Some people commit wrong habits while urinating without paying attention to it, which “Consulto” reviews in the following report, according to the “Livestrong” website.

Bad habits while urinating
1- Pushing while urinating
The pressure on the abdominal muscles, to speed up the urination process, may cause the bladder to weaken, especially when doing so, which leads to some problems in the long run, most notably:
Pelvic organ prolapse.
Difficulty excreting the bladder.
– Hemorrhoids.

2- Scan from back to front
There is no doubt that cleaning the genitals following urination is very important, but it should be taken into account that wiping from front to back, because if this is reversed, the risk of urinary tract infection increases, as a result of stool entering the urethra.

3- Urinary retention
You should go to the bathroom when you feel the urge to urinate, because holding urine deliberately for more than 5 hours or more may lead to the expansion of the bladder wall and infection.
Therefore, you must urinate every 2 or 4 hours, to maintain a healthy bladder.

4- Urinating in a standing position
Some people get used to urinating while standing, knowing that the correct position for this vital process is sitting straight or bending slightly forward with the arms on the leg, to relieve pressure on the bladder and allow urine to flow easily.

5- Urinating without needing
Trying to empty the bladder frequently may seem healthy, but it is not, as it has been proven that urinating without feeling negatively affects its health, making it more sensitive once it is filled with a little water.
6- Doing Kegel exercises while urinating
Kegel exercises play a big role in strengthening the pelvic floor muscles, but doing them while urinating prevents the bladder from contracting and makes it more difficult for urine to flow.
