A large quantity of cocaine with an estimated street value of over $1.1 million was seized by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) agents near the U.S.-canada border in Washington state.
The finding occurred last Thursday in a wooded area of Lynden, Washington, close to a border crossing. CBP agents patrolling the area stumbled upon two black backpacks lying on the ground. Upon inspection,thay found 30 brick-like packages containing a white powdery substance,which later tested positive for cocaine.The drugs were subsequently turned over to the Drug Enforcement Management (DEA).
