After Gran Turismo Sportthe eponymous series returns in an eighth main installment, Grand Touring 7. Developed by Polyphony Digital and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment, the car simulation game is out March 4 on PS4 and PS5.
A return to the source for those most nostalgic for the first opuses of Gran Turismo, combined with the technical modernity offered by the PS5. This is the promise made by the Polyphony Digital studio. Gran Turismo 7 is intended to be an ode to the glory of the automobile for both genre experts and neophytes alike. For the most collectors among you, more than 400 cars will be on offer, customizable at will, both aesthetically and technically. At its launch, GT7 will offer 97 circuits in just over 30 different destinations, enough to keep you busy for a while.
Among the novelties of the title, the Music Replay option will allow you to create videos of your races where the camera changes will be punctuated by the music chosen from a rich library of 300 tracks by 75 artists. And for those who want to live the musical experience to the fullest, the Music Rally mode will offer challenges related to the different songs. Finally, two graphic modes will be available. The Frame Rate mode and its 60 fps as well as a Ray Tracing mode designed mainly to impress you in replays and photo mode.
