Back to school announced the first week of October

The President of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, at the 1X10 meeting of the Good Government, announced that classes will begin from the first week of October, reported the Sector Vice President for Science, Technology, Education and Health, Gabriela Jiménez Ramírez.

The information was made known during an interview broadcast by the official channel, where he highlighted that the registration and preparation of the educational process will take place in September, VTV reported.

He assured that the Minister of Popular Power for Education stressed that from October 5 to 12, the 2022-2023 school year begins and assured that “education is the transforming engine of the entire country.”

Advanced plans for university education

Regarding the advanced plans for university education, the also Minister of Science and Technology, explained the approval processes for them.

He said that recently, the National Pharmacy Plan was published in the Official Gazette; In addition, in the graduation ceremony for Comprehensive Community Physicians, the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, announced that Post Degrees in medical specialties would be opened.

In that sense, he reported that 13 Postgraduate degrees were approved in the health area and highlighted that more than 20 Postgraduate degrees were recently approved by the National Council of Universities.

“The university educational dynamics had a delay with everything related to the pandemic, but the processes are being activated and we are going to carry out more timely surveillance,” he assured.

The Sectoral Vice President stressed that “our task and our challenge, and President Nicolás Maduro has asked us to do so, is, in some way, to summon youth for science, to stimulate vocations for scientific careers.”
