A whole day devoted to astronomy with the possibility of taking control of a space shuttle. This is what the animation offered this Saturday, July 22, 2023, on the initiative of the Pierre-Fayadat Astronomical Observatory promised. The SpaceBus France team responded to the invitation of President Christian Quatre.
Between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m., fun and interactive workshops on astronomy were offered free of charge. Accessible from 8 years old, these activities have aroused the curiosity of young and old thanks to an escape game built around a mission to Mars.
A Saturday to discover astronomy in Joigny
A conference was also given this Saturday, between 7 and 9 p.m., in the Claude-Debussy room. About fifty spectators gathered to attend. It was dedicated to the “sumptuous adventure” of the James Webb telescope and told by Raphaël Peralta, researcher at the Paris-Saclay research and innovation center. Also a specialist in exoplanets, he is one of the co-founders of SpaceBus France. Back in pictures on this day spent with your head in the stars.
